Not for the target platform, but for the host, by using a scratchbox
host target, that is , a sb target that has "host-gcc" as its toolchain.

For the wrapper part:
I don't have any links, but just copying the binary to somewhere under
/scratchbox should do the trick(in Apophis).
For the maemo part, wiki might be helpful, especially
