[Scratchbox-users] Scratchbox as a pure cross-compiler (x86) ?

Is it possible to use SB's i686 compiler without being logged in? I have some big legacy projects and I would
like to use SB's compiler and libraries to compile them and I would not like to make a complete development
environment change.

E.g. when I try to run 

~$ i686-linux-gcc --help
 
I get the message 

sb_gcc_wrapper (i686-linux-gcc): unable to open scratchbox.config
