Hi,

I have compiled MYSQL version 5.0.22 successfully on scratchbox. The
scratchbox is setted up in a Fedora Core 4 machine. Now when I tried to
run mysql server on my scratchbox it is failing to start.

* /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe --user=root*
/scratchbox/tools/bin/chown: changing ownership of
`/usr/local/mysql/data/sak.err': Operation not permitted
Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /usr/local/mysql/data
STOPPING server from pid file /usr/local/mysql/data/sak.pid
071019 01:34:53  mysqld ended

Has anybody succesfully run mysql on the scratchbox, does it require
some additional changes to be done. Let me know if any of this is required.

Regards
Saleem
